A throwback to how I learned "scootering" , Hansu's first scooter experience!

 I would have never thought about writing it , until when at 21 March 2023, when I met my friend and when I get to know about blogging where you can share your experience . So  far as I remembered, I was in my 2nd year , when my friend promised me to teach me scootering . It all started with a joke and then to reality to become a scooter ride lover. Looking at the grey body of the scooter, with all necessary parts(seat, brake and frame, tires, handlebars, headlights and kickstand) in black;  I was extremely happy , for black-grey were my all time favourite. I being so impatient in my youth days so extremely overpowered by riding , so on the same joking day evening , ask my friend to teach me and the process of making me learn scootering started.

My friend first gave me demo by riding himself . I was nervous to drive . My friend used to hold my hand from siting behind while I used to adjust myself on seat. In the beginning I had hard times as my body and heart were not willing to to cooperate . And this mismatched and crooked figure of me would often made fall off from scooter but anyway my friend used to control . Minor scratches and cuts on body as well as scooter dents become a routine .

On one such fine evening , my friend decided to test my progress, by wearing a helmet himself as well as giving me too and leaving the hold of scooter while I'm riding. I was feeling like flying on the ground ,the gentle purr of engine , the hum of the road, the wind was in my hair, the sun was on mine skin and having a feeling of freedom to explore world by myself. I was good for 20 minutes . And then came the most difficult task to turn the scooter on round path with a back turn , I realized something was fishy . I was feeling a problem in turning a scooter along with giving a indicator . My mind used to remember my old school english poem  "Humpty Dumpty had a great fall". But I somehow manage to turn it round with back. It was best moment feeling of my life like winning a battle. 

Continuing was difficult(which will always be!), as I was being so much afraid to start on crowd road with full new experience. There were a large number of vehicles as previously I probably used to learn on empty road with less crowd and open ground. I usually asked my friend to hold my hands with safety  whenever I used to be pass by huge vehicles like cars , bus etc... My friend then used to scold me for the first time during those days as he hope to find in me a quick learner . I the next 3-4 days I used to balance, apply breaks , use indicators , maintain speed , follow traffic rules , signals ,  turn around in all four direction . He used to tell often to sit straight , develop a habit to look at mirror , giving indicator  once while changing a path during a riding  with a hope that I can do it by telling that it's a way of life . And now he stopped chasing me , I was extremely nervous but my friend's words were applealing so I tried . I drove it far and then came back would continue as marry go round . He was proud! And this gave me boost to my confidence . But none of falls had my love for  scootering decrease . I am so delighted to find such a friend . This relations  made my bond  much stronger. 

I have heard and read , but now I seems to find this words true "When you're driving a scooter, time slows down, and every moment becomes more vivid. The world seems brighter, the sky bluer, and the road ahead full of endless possibilities. There's a certain magic to driving a scooter, a sense of wonder and whimsy that can transport you to a different time and place. It's a feeling of pure joy and unbridled freedom that's hard to find anywhere else." 

I guess I'm soon going to learn how to drive a bike and car  . It would be fun.(I think!) And obviously , my friend will teach me that too . I'll be sharing that experience too!
